E1: Women's NCAA Volleyball Coaches: Crissy Jones Schoonderwoerd and Kristen Kelsay, from the University of Minnesota
Did you know women’s college volleyball is the fastest growing televised sport? Crissy Jones Schoonderwoerd and Kristen Kelsay, two of the four coaching staff of the Women's Volleyball Program at the University of Minnesota, join us in this episode to share insight into the world of women’s college sports. Kristen Kelsay was hired as the associate head coach for Minnesota volleyball in January of 2023, joining the staff of first year head coach Keegan Cook. She actually used to play with Katie Harms daughter! Crissy Jones Schoonderwoerd was announced as an assistant coach for Minnesota volleyball on Jan. 20, 2024.

E2: Leslie Fhima
For anyone who has watched, heard about, or read about the Golden Bachelor, one statement is true: you likely fell in love with Leslie Fhima. Leslie is a Minnesota born and raised, 65-year-old woman who has always been willing to try something new to explore where it may take her. As a young figure skater, it was her dream to be a part of the Ice Follies, a touring ice show with elaborate productions, which she auditioned for and joined for 2 years following high school. In the 80s, she opened up Leslie’s Shape Shop, an aerobics studio, after training with Jane Fonda, and continued her journey as a personal trainer and fitness instructor with LifeTime. Leslie Fhima and co-host, Lisa Rubin, have been extremely close friends since high school. As Lisa would say, “Leslie is always reinventing herself and ahead of her time”.
In this episode, we hear more about Leslie’s upbringing and her past that brought her to the person we were introduced to on national television. We learn about the friendships fostered from the Golden Bachelor, her feelings today towards Gerry, the behind the scenes of the clothing, hair and makeup on the show, and what is next for Leslie. She is authentically and truly herself (Lisa can attest to that).

Katie Severt is a healthcare advocate passionate about advancing access to healthcare to underserved communities of children and adults, specifically women. She is the Founder of Let’s Talk Women, a quarterly panel series hosted at the Minneapolis Club. Her company, Let’s Talk Health, is working to elevate women and companies that are driving innovation in women’s healthcare. This episode is truly about women, for women (but men, you should listen to it as well). This episode is about creating the dialogue, discussion, and information for what makes women unique and why it's so important to have services available that speak to the actual needs of women.

The show's inspirational mission developed from Whitney’s firsthand experience with a challenging childhood.
Learn her journey to owning a nationally syndicated talk show from a high school trip to NYC, to her education at Baylor University, to her internship with Good Morning America, to now her days in Chicago as a business owner, talk show host, and mom of twins. Amanda Brinkman is a producer, film-maker, branding expert and sought-after keynote speaker, sharing her “Do Well By Doing Good” philosophy on stages around the country.
She has held C level positions in Fortune 500 companies. She produced – and hosted - the Small Business Revolution, an amazing series that ran on Hulu for 6 Seasons and was nominated for multiple Emmys.
Amanda has won numerous awards from Women in Business accolades to 40 under 40 and has been featured in major national publications for her incredible career achievements and perspective. She is also an entrepreneur. Amanda is passionate about purpose and helping others identify their superpowers so we can all feel like we are able to do good in the World.
In this episode, we are going to hear more about Amanda’s passion for bringing “goodness” and “business” together, how she fashions herself, her daily routines, and her upcoming LIVE event “The Purpose Pursuit” in Minnesota this fall 2024.
